Five Sentence Fiction – Limitless

The Five Sentence Fiction is a simple idea: Five Sentence Fiction is about packing a powerful punch in a tiny fist. Each week I will post a one word inspiration, then anyone wishing to participate will write a five sentence story based on the prompt word. The word does not have to appear in your five sentences, just use it for direction.

This week, Lillie chose the word "Limitless," which is how recent graduates often feel.
The fire in her heart was matched by the breadth of her ambition.
She wanted to change the world, and would stop at nothing to do just that.
But the world is harsh, and people resistant.
However she planned to set a-light each person to make a change.
Just as one person can cause untold destruction, likewise one can influence generations to come.

  1. Yes!

The cosmic balance always works, we only must remember that it is a two edged Kris!

    Well written! I like it!

  2. Wonderful thoughts about changing the world. Pay it forward. One life at a time. Optimism when we are young and so full of energy. Steve Jobs used the phrase "put a dent in the universe". I remember being that way. Lovely write.

  3. Absolutely. I especially like this message.

  4. After the fourth sentence, I was expecting a very different fifth. Nice job!

  5. I think she is bound to change her world. A nice effort at the FSF.

  6. People never realise the influence that they alone can have on another in the most unexpected of ways. I like this a lot, simple yet powerful.
